WOODS FOR CATS is a Sydney based family company specializing in unique and innovative furniture and products for cats.
Our deep love for small felines led us to start our online store in 2018. We offer beautiful and long lasting cat furniture while we strive to make a positive impact to cat’s and cat owner’s lives.

We believe our products could help our customers create a home environment more comfortable for cats, cat dads and mums, with no compromise on the quality. Materials are carefully selected to withstand conituous use by cats. The prodcuts are made the way you can replace parts without the need to discard the whole product.

Our products are functionally designed and ethically made, with sustainability in mind. All materials used are selected carefully based on the longevity while being safe for cats. Our customers can enjoy our products knowing that they were created with respect for people, animals and the environment.
OUR FURNITURE
All designs are created by skilled pet furniture designers and craftsmen from South Korea and are made in their own small-scale production factories. Tok Tok Cat Trees are made by a fast growing company specializing in safe floor to ceiling cat poles.
Some of the designs are designed as a collaboration between us and our partners. Each and every design considers all cat’s natural behaviours and is built based on the experience with these small, although wild in heart, creatures living now more commonly solely indoors.

WOODS FOR CATS
We have been feeding homeless streets cats. These cats were abandoned and for different reasons couldn’t be placed in homes. A group of dedicated volunteers, which we are a part of, feed and care for them daily since 2017.
Food supplies and vet bills are paid by individual volunteers out of their pocket. These cats are desexed and won’t reproduce which is what we also suggest to every cat owner to do. To combat the homeless-animal crisis, we need to turn the tap off at the source, and that means having our cats spayed/neutered. That way, if they have an access to outdoors or those living indoors escape from home won’t reproduce.
From time to time we foster kittens. Simply put, fostering pets save lives in a whole lot of wonderful ways. Firstly and foremost, a pet in a foster home is not occupying a kennel at the shelter, leaving that kennel available for another animal — and that alone has the potential to save both their lives. Secondly, foster homes provide great benefits for types of animals who find the shelter environment especially challenging. Pregnant cats need a quiet, calm place to give birth, and kittens are vulnerable to illnesses they may pick up at the shelter. Other animals who benefit from foster care include cats who have been in the shelter for a while and are very stressed around other animals, and those who have been overlooked for adoption and need a foster family’s help to get some extra exposure. There is a number of small rescue groups or organisations who often need foster families. If you would like to become a foster carer, please get in touch with us and we will recommend you one of our partners.
We give away furniture to cat rescue groups and organisations. We donate a part of our income to various shelters. We hope we can help to save or improve more lives by doing what we are passionate about. We wish for the world to be a better place for the voiceless little creatures and we believe every action, even a small gesture, can make a difference in someone’s life.
