We offer them also separately as some cats might benefit from extra platforms/steps:

• if your cat is a small breed, has short legs and is not able to jump high,
• if your cat experience difficulties jumping and needs the space between individual platforms to be shorter,
• if you simple want to create a staircase (in the shape of the spiral) for your cat – this might be beneficial if your cat is a senior or suffering from a health condition restricting the mobility,
• if you work regularly with kittens.
• if your ceiling is high and you need to add extension rod – it will result in your cat tree to be taller with more space to add additional platforms, hammocks, or a house.

**Note: ABS plastic is highly resistant to impact and abrasion, making it suitable for Tok Tok cat tree where durability is crucial. It is also easy to keep hygienic and might be more suitable in multi-cat households where marking the territory is a behavioural issue. This platform is made of the same material as the brackets, also in the same colour-way. ABS is used in a wide range of consumer products, such as toys, luggage, and appliances.
